Create a New HDD Box
You can create an HDD job Box.
This procedure differs between a case in which the HDD folder is password protected and that in which the HDD folder is not password protected.
Select a folder.
If the folder is password protected, the [Folder Password] screen is displayed.
When the folder is not password protected, proceed to step 3.
Enter the password, and click [OK].
If the entered password matches the registered password, the lock is released.
Select [Box] - [New Creation] from the [Job Operations] menu.
You can also select [Box] - [New Creation] from the right-click menu to create a new Box.
The [New Box Creation] screen is displayed.
Enter the Box name and password.
The Box name can be specified using up to 20 one-byte or two-byte characters. The password can be specified using up to 8 one-byte characters.
If the password is omitted, a Box without password authentication is created.
Click [OK].
