Creasing Paper

When Saddle Stitcher SD-513 equipped with Creaser Unit CR-101 is mounted on this machine, paper can be creased.

Select the desired one from 1, 2, 3, and 4 creases, then determine the crease position.

For the convex side of creases, select the front side or back side.

  • The number of creases is limited depending on the copy conditions to be combined.

  • When [Fold & Staple] or [Multi Half] is selected, only one crease can be applied to the cover. The body cannot be creased. For details, refer to Creasing a Cover in Fold & Staple or Multi Half-Fold.

  • When Tri-Fold is selected, only two creases can be applied to the paper to be folded in three. For details, refer to Creasing Paper in Multi Tri-Fold.

  • When [Perfect Binding] is selected, two or four creases can be applied to the cover. The body cannot be creased. For details, refer to Using Perfect Binder PB-503.
