Restoring Settings Manually
When Reset on the control panel is pressed on the [COPY] screen, [SCAN] screen, or [STORE] screen, the machine clears all the conditions specified so far and restores arbitrary settings. This function is called Reset.
If Reset on the control panel is pressed on the [SCAN] screen, all the selected destinations are reset. However, the scan conditions specified on the Scan Settings screen are not reset.
If Reset on the control panel is pressed on the Scan Settings screen, settings are reset to arbitrary settings. The destinations selected on the [SCAN] screen are not reset.
Select whether to enable one of the following options as arbitrary settings.
[Full Auto]:
Returns to the factory default settings when the machine is reset. However, some settings may be changed.[Initialize]:
Returns to the setting you selected on the [UTILITY] screen when the machine is reset.

These settings cannot be changed except Output Setting.

**: When a finisher is connected, settings selected in the utility settings are set ([UTILITY] - [User Setting] - [System Setting] - [Reset Setting] - [Job Reset Setting] - [Finisher Mode when Full Auto]).

Copy, scan, and store conditions specified as Initialize
The conditions are specified on the following screens.
•[Copy Initial Setting] screen of the [UTILITY] screen
•[Scan Initial Setting] screen of the [UTILITY] screen
•[Store Initial Setting] screen of the [UTILITY] screen

If Mode Memory Auto Call is ON and data exists in No. 30 of the Copy Mode Memory, Scan Mode Memory, or Store Mode Memory, the conditions return to the settings in Mode Memory No. 30.
If Mode Memory Auto Call is OFF or data does not exist in No. 30 of the Copy Mode Memory, Scan Mode Memory, or Store Mode Memory, the conditions comply with [Copy Initial Setting], [Scan Initial Setting], or [Store Initial Setting].
Conditions registered to Copy Mode Memory, Scan Mode Memory, or Store Mode Memory [No.30]
These conditions are registered by pressing Mode Memory on the control panel.
When Reset is applied, the following settings become effective.
