Overview of Secure Job

When you send a print job from the computer in a remote location from the machine, it may cause an information leakage if the printed document is left for a while in this machine.

Using the Secure Job function, a password is always set to a Box on the HDD in the machine, and print jobs are stored in the Box. Enter the password of the Box using the touch panel or Print Manager. Secure jobs are automatically deleted after printed.

This function manages printouts using this machine at hand, not using a computer away from the machine, preventing printouts from being left or checked by a third party when outputting a job using the touch panel. Print jobs are not left on this machine after they are printed, so the Secure Job function is suitable for printing confidential documents.

Tips
  • The secure job function changes print settings, edits data on a page basis, or prints data via the touch panel of the main body. You can also use Print Manager installed on the computer to edit a secure job, but you cannot edit a job that is being edited using the panel of the main body, a job that is edited for items other than the file name and the number of sets, and a job that can be edited only on the panel of the main body.
