Basic Scan Operation

Follow the procedure below to make a basic scan.

preconditionThe following describes the basic procedure. It is not always applicable to the operations of set scan conditions. When using a specific function, be sure to follow the procedure described in each section.

Press SCAN tab to display the SCAN screen, and select the desired scan function.
Specify the destination to send the scan data to, and press Scan Settings.
Set the scan conditions.
Position the original.
Press Start on the control panel.
The original is scanned, and the scan data are transmitted to the specified destination.
