Q6. I cannot properly retrieve information of the optional devices, although I specify the correct IP address and then click [Acquire Device Information] on the PS Plug-in driver.

A6. If the machine is used as a shared printer on a network server, the PS Plug-in driver may not be able to automatically register the optional device. In such a case, perform the setup manually.

Alternatively, the SNMP function may be disabled.

From the [UTILITY] screen, go to [Administrator Setting] - [Network Setting] - [NIC Settings] - [SNMP Settings] and check whether [ON] is selected.
