Taking Out Perfect-Bound Books from Perfect Binder Tray

Tray capacity is approx. 6,600 sheets, stacked with 11 sets 30 mm thick x 2 columns.

The first column is loaded in the right of the binding tray, and the second column is loaded with the first column slid to the left on the Carriage.

  1. Check the stacks through the perfect binder tray window.

    If piled books are shown only on the right side of the tray, proceed to step 2.

    If two columns of books are shown on the tray, proceed to step 3.

  2. Press the delivery button, and move the stacked bound-books to the carriage on the right.

    • supplementary explanationBooklets can be loaded in the binding tray without mounting the carriage in the binding tray. In this case, the loading capacity is a half as compared with when the carriage is mounted (booklet of 30 mm thickness: 11 booklets  , 1 column: approx. 3,300 sheets).

  3. Open the front door of the binding tray.

    • supplementary explanationWhen bound books are stacked in the binding tray or bound books are moved by pressing the delivery button, the front door of the binding tray is not opened.

  4. Carefully pull out the carriage.

    • supplementary explanationSlowly pull out the carriage. Otherwise, the piled books may collapse.

  5. When moving the carriage with the bound books stacked, use the bound-books collapse prevention plate and bound-book stopper to fix the bound books to the carriage, preventing the stacked bound-books from being broken.

    • supplementary explanationTo attach the bound-books collapse prevention plate, move the bound-books collapse prevention plate lever to align it to the bound books.

    • supplementary explanationInsert the bound-book stopper into any hole of the carriage to align it to the bound books.

  6. Take out the bound books from the carriage.

    When the bound-books collapse prevention plate or bound-book stopper is used, separate them from the bound books before taking out them.

  7. Return the carriage to the original position, and close the front door of the binding tray.

  8. If the column of books is left on the right side of the tray, repeat steps from 2 to 7.
